Marsh scouting video John Eberhart

Unread postby MichiganMike » Sun Jan 17, 2021 2:54 pm

New video by John Eberhart scouting a marsh. He’s a pretty legit and Legendary big buck killer Here in Michigan. Nothing groundbreaking or rewriting the book, but drives home a lot of points that Dan and others on the forum have discussed in the past. Enjoy! https://youtube.com/watch?v=1lMfBBpXn5A&feature=share

John is a legend however I always watch the time and think "How long this time until I hear the words 50 book bucks"

I wish we had the amount of public you guys got down there up here in Ontario.

I watched it. I did not prefer the video much.

No sponsors. No camera crew. No team. Just me and my bow. And that’s the way I prefer it.

Thought it was a good video. I have a spot just like that in central Minnesota.

Why do you think there are no deer there? Experience, or area knowledge?

Good to see John doing some marsh scouting. Always great to see a different perspective.

I'm betting his scent free routine will be pretty much useless getting back there in the heat of the early season. No way around that.

Maybe he doesn't have sweat glands. I'd be stinking that joint up in the early season. I've had does snort at me 70 yards away from across a ravine once with no wind and dropping thermals in early season. WTH!
On my deathbed, I will receive total consciousness. So I have that going for me, which is nice!

He knows what he's doing, but man I can't stand listening to the guy. You don't have to tell everyone how many book deer you have, just let your knowledge speak for itself.

I was wondering how long it would be before I heard "scentlok" this or that... then I saw his hat...
