Property stand location advice

This is my first attempt at posting through photobucket so bear wth me!

Above is a property i am looking to tackle this year come spring thaw. Below is a Legend so to speak for the map:
Pink= bedding area
Blue= late season/secondary bedding
Brown=deer trails
Red=off limits
Lower left corner shows wind and north bearing

I have yet to "beast scout" the property because i am just learning about it and will have to wait until snow thaw. But this is my thought on stand locations. There is little topography, one dry creekbed that runs E to W from my AM stand location. And the brown field is up on a small ridge that is on the east side of it and faces the east.

Its honestly hard to determine much from that map... My suggestion would be to figure out all the bedding areas by walking the property, and set up stands on the trails exiting the bedding areas, and plan to hunt them lightly. 1 to 3 hunts each a year. The rest of the year sit observation stands, funnels, and field edges.

Sorry about the poor map layout, i plan on doing some scouting come spring when the snow is melted. There arent many deer in the area at the moment as they migrate out once snow fly's. But i will be sure to hunt it lightly, fields edges tend not to work well in my area except in early season due to a high poaching(Road Hunters) in the area. But i will concentrate on the funnels and such like you said.

I ordered the Farm and Hill Country DVD's which were shipped today so i will have those in a week or two and will help bring me up to speed.

i wouldnt wait for the snow to melt.....it's alot easier to figure deer out with snow on the ground....i know in TN we only get a few snows a year and i take advantage of em....found 30 beds today and yesterday combined.....it was also our only snow weve gotten in 12 months

This is true with your area... up here we get a lot of snow and deer in some areas migrate or change bedding so it can be harder with snow on some properties.

That farm country DVD looks just like the marsh and hill country DVD I bought even the font used so I could see where he thought he bought it from dan

I was told by many that they felt they were tricked into buying it because they put one of my catch phrases on the cover "there is no magic pixie dust" and tried to make it look just like the ones me and Andrae made... I hope lots of people returned them or complained.

I could see that.....and it being sold beside the marsh and hill country dvd looks like a trilogy or something if I didn't know I would think it was all the same
