I'm learning/Thermal tunnel

Unread postby bwwma » Wed Jan 21, 2015 7:37 am

I walked a part of a national forest (hill country) I had been wanting to check. I've read some good information on here that makes sense. It was funny to me as I walked up the lee side of a ridge, as soon as I started to feel the wind there would be a trail running parallel with the ridge. I walked up many ridges and it was true every time there would be a trail on the lee side once I started to feel the wind. I'm starting to put the pieces together, I found a couple of doe beds and jumped two other deer. Thanks for the help.

Good work! Once you start to have success in scouting beds it really drives you to want to scout more and more.
