Bedding points

Unread postby mheichelbech » Thu Jan 16, 2014 2:03 am

One major thing I have picked up so far is to look for beds on points in which the wind is "blowing down". Could someone please expand on this? For example, if I have a ridge running west/east and the points are primarily north and south on either side of the ridge and the predominant wind is southwest or south, I am guessing the buck beds would be on the points that are on the north side of the ridge with a south wind and on the east side of EITHER north or south side points with a west wind? Attached is the topo ( I thnk)
