Kind of all three. Can't see all the available sign, I do scout in the snow when I can but I always end up coming back to that area in the spring just so I make sure I don't miss anything. We have about 20+ inches of snow right now so even with shoes its not super easy to get around, or it takes a lot of extra time that I don't have (kids). As I mentioned above many remote wilderness roads in MN aren't plowed in the winter so that turns a 2-3 mile trip into a 10 to 20 mile death march, also known as a big pain in the behind. 12 inches is fairly easy to scout it but once you get a ways above that its not worth it. Oh one more excuse, I use snowmobile trail to access some spots, not sure I want to give that a shot this time of year, might even be illegal here, not sure on that. So I'll stick to ice fishing for now. 8-)

Very excited for the spring, I usually hit it as hard as I can until green up.

My son and I are taking the 3 hour drive to some property in the app mountains of va this weekend. We are hoping to find a bed or two. This is all (beast style) new to us and we are really looking forward to it. Looks like we may getting a dusting of snow Friday night...that would be helpful.

I'll be out, probably use the snowshoes for the first time this year.

Headed to SW WI to scout for the weekend, 3-5 inches of snow expected. Not sure if it will really be worth it. Can't stand being indoors when all I want to do is get out there and scout.

Illinois puts a doe season at the end when nobody cares anymore and you might shoot a buck after dropping antlers....kinda dumb. I'm hoping to scout a new area and grab a last chance deer. Tag soup so far.

Yep, no reason why not. Temps are in the teens and I have new public ground to scout & alot of ground to learn. Put the extensions on the snowshoes (makes it a bit easier in deep snow), should be fun!

All of the above. Plus I'm burned out it's been a long season. Family misses me, I miss them. My son has 5th grade basketball tourneys thru Feb on most wknds. My scouting will start in March.

Same here. The last few weekends we been getting a few inches of fresh snow. I enjoy being in the woods and I should be out there for the enjoyment, but its hard to find what Im looking for. Walking through snow over your knees isn't fun either.
