Anyone care to test their skills and guess where I jumped a big buck? The wind was coming out of the SW and it is public land. This marsh itself doesn't receive pressure but the woods all around it does.

Had a heck of a time getting this done but here's my guess.

I would have guessed the same as magicman.

I'll play
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

I can't post the picture, but I agree with Stanley.

Re: Game: Where was the mature buck bedded?
Dan had it right with the clump of brush in the middle there. I came in from the South and he busted up and headed N-NW towards the creek. I did find another bed where MagicMan suggested and another 15 yds SW of Dan's other red dot.
I'm thinking I may try to sit near the edge of the marsh between the creek bend and the red dot where he was. Going to be very tricky with a W wind, but SW might be just good enough.

That's interesting. I passed over that spot because the trails lead right thru/past. I don't usually find buck beds in these pass thru islands. I usually find beds in spots that are end of the run places.
