Nice oldrank! Now what the heck is it? And what's the marble looking things, guessing eggs. Real or synthetic? Also what's the logic behind fishing with that style bait? For the fish I have to play with catfish is the onlything I use a prepared or cut bait for. Mainly cause I fish the spawn for whatever species, and a jig/lure lets me cover a lot of water quicker and find where they are piled up. Catfish are not nearly as visual and rely mostly on smell so I'm better off stinking up an area an bringing them to me. Always like learning something new and why guys fish for a certain fish a certain way, if u don't mind sharing.

Nice steelie Oldrank. Fun to fish for them. I always enjoy fishing for them with a particular streamer with pretty good success. I haven't done it much lately because I'm spending that time scouting.

Not sure how far you are from Iowa, but I'm willing to make the drive for a good fish fry. We have big buck grilling here, not so much on fish frying.

Anytime! Usually have a big one 4th Of July weekend. Cooking 100# crawfish in 2 weeks, I like them to. Them pigs like u massacred make for a heck of a shin dig as well. I cook em whole, build a smoke box out of cinder blocks then lay a piece of expanded metal over it and cover with barn tin. Mucho Bueno! I like a live weight hog of about 100# if to small they get mushy b4 done. If to large they take 4ever to cook.

If u figure out a way to mail frozen food I send ya a bag of fillets.

Freeze it and pack it in a cooler with dry ice and overnight it. Costly though. Cant remember where you're from?
