Had blast today with a good friend ....we hit up the northern part of the rock river today and had action all day...right off the bat as we looked over the bank I seen one and just hammered It.....the tactic of the day was in the john boat slowly drifting down stream listening for then sucking air and watching for ripples . at time there would be 5 or 6 I could shoot I just had to pick witch one!...we would get right on them and they had no clue...I missed SOOOOOOOO many chip shots you wouldn't believe .....half of them were out of the water on the banks sucking in mud. I cant wait for tomorrow im heading back after work ....thanks to dan I was taught well and I have a new hobby that's got me on fire!!

Good work Tyler. I bet Carols raccoons would like to eat some of those carp.
You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

Nice work Tyler. Smoked carp is pretty darn good. I just cut off the head split them down the spine. Brine (overnight) the halves unscaled; 1 cup of salt to a gallon of water. Then smoke the next day scale side down.
