Count me in bridge!, this will force me to do in season scouting which is what I need to work on :). My focus will be swampy / creek areas. Hopefully I can find some oaks dropping in close proximity to bedding.

I was planning to get off work at noon each day and be in the field by around 1:30. My supervisor has yet to approve my time off yet. Still keeping my fingers crossed. I was on convalescent leave last week and spent 20 or more hours pouring over maps and sattellite images of more than 45,000 acers within an hour of work and home. I'm pretty pumped to get to scouting. Hopefully I can cock my bow and set my stand. I have a strained chest muscle to complicate things a little bit. :?

Sound like you are ready to go, minus the injury. I will be out for evenings. Might not be able to hunt Fri,Sat n Sun. May be fishing.

Weather is looking like crap Tuesday through friday in my neck of the woods, but I'm loving it. If the predicted wind directions hold its gonna work out that I can hunt each of the spots I've cyberscouted for this plus a couple others that I've hunted in the past that won't count for this challenge, but I can't ignore them. I've got really high hopes and am glad I've got an extra rain jacket so it's not so much of a pain getting it dry between hunts.

Having the right wind is huge, the rain can also be an advantage. Hoping the weather holds up for you, sounds very promising.

Finally got approval for Tuesday afternoon off from work. I don't know about the rest of the week yet, but am hopefull. We're looking at a 20 degree temp drop mid week! The predicted rain should prove to be an advantage for some initial scouting. I'm pumped :D

Few more days boys!, hope every is as excited as I am . I was thinking... maybe next year we can team up in 2’s. Get to know other beasts and learn from each other?. Well I’d be the one learning . Just thought it would be more fun that way. Or we could always pick a core area and camp out so we all can meet up. Just some thoughts.
