Put my new Wicked saw to use.

Unread postby Stanley » Wed Oct 19, 2011 5:27 am

Just giving a short critique of the Wicked saw. Used it for the first time over the weekend. Saw is very sturdy and sharp. Used it on some shag bark hickory bark and worked great. My Gerber would have busted for sure. Cuts through 1.5 up to 3 inch saplings any kind with ease. Anything over 3 inches is more of a chainsaw size. You could do it but it would take some time. The price was premium but the saw is equally as premium (not too often does that happen). My Gerber will no longer be traveling with me out to the field. I would recommend this saw to anyone that needs a quality hand saw to carry afield.

Great review Stanley! Your right there are some things that are worth the money.....the last and best saw you can buy....Yeah it's worth it. It is on my list of backpack essentials.

Yes great tool for trimming stuff. Use it a lot. Get one off those and you'll throw your hand snips away.
