sportsmans atlas is it accurate?

sportsmans atlas is it accurate?

i saw in an earlyer post that dan said it was a good source for public land. how accurate is it? i found some land near were i live and the map said public but when i arrived, there was no hunting sings posted all over it! :?

Check with the local DNR...

I got one @ Christmas time and I have found many errors. Still a good source.

It is just a general guide. It doesn't cover all public land and it covers some areas it shouldn't, but they make a good starting point.
