Horns looking good

Unread postby Wrinkleneck » Fri Jun 24, 2011 4:11 am

The horns are really starting to show what they are all about!!! This guy has been coming to my Lucky Buck Mineral site lately. He is still in the early stages of building his cage, but I may have an idea who he is and time will tell if I'm right. Anyhow it's GREAT to see things are starting to take shape. Enjoy ;)

I have a buck that looks to be about a 2 year old on camera that is about the same as this buck as an 8 point...

How much more growth of antler is expected for a buck like this and body weight put on, I know a lot of factors come into play like genetics, food, weather, stress, etc.????

Lots of factors come into play... but usually if a deer is gonna stack it on they are really round at the end of the beams and tines... the buck in the pic above looks to me like a 2yr year old that might end up around 110"s
