9/5 Montana Public Land. Spot and Stalk. Spotted at 50 yards and he worked into 7 yards. One of most memorable hunts of my life!

9/12 Montana Public Land. Was heading out for an elk hunt, but got side tracked when two rutting antelope bucks chased each other in my direction. Got a 30ish yard shot at this guy for my first ever archery antelope.

Re: 2021-2022 BEAST Buck Lineup
Made the drive from Michigan to wyoming over the labor day weekend. I did not have any vacation time as I have a Iowa tag that will eat all the rest of my time in November. There was 5 of us that were in camp and I would have to fly back to Michigan on Tuesday for work. This was a tent camp trip hunting public property, we have been hunting wyoming for a number of years now and we always have a blast.
The first few days were very slow for us. A combination of heavier hunting pressure, dry conditions, and areas that had been logged had us searching more than hunting. On Monday we had nothing going for the morning hunts, so I suggested we spend the morning moving again trying to find some bucks or spots the guys would be able to hunt mornings the rest of the week. We ended up glassing a number of valleys with a couple ponds in the bottoms. We caught two bucks heading for cover and tried to get in front of them. We dove into a drainage and snuck to a small rise on a point. There was perfect cover between the two of us and the bucks. The smaller of the two bucks disappeared into the cover, while the larger one made its way into a clearing for a shot just before he would have also dipped into the cover. I made a soft grunt to stop him and touched one off. My arrow found its mark but landed a tick high, dropping the deer instantly. A quick follow up shot was made, and the buck was mine!!!!

Sept 18th Missouri Public Land. Spread is only 11", but he has one of the coolest racks I have ever seen. My friend Johnny saw a big 10pt in a crp field that morning, so we went after them that night. The 10pt showed up along with a really nice young 14pt and this 14pt. Was one of the best sits of my life. I have never shaken so much in the stand.

I caught this guy heading back to his bed on opening weekend. A big thanks to Zonk54 and his son for helping me get him out of the woods and on ice.
