Looking at aerial photos, looks like most of the premium mature beds are open air dirt now in the middle of hundreds of acres of fresh clear cut.

And I know thos bucks move too private that's not hunted when they get pressured out of those beds.

Almost positive by looking at the aerial photos, I lost 20 are so cameras to the logging.

But there is always hope that one of the big boys didnt move off to private and just moved too another area

Just curious how are you getting that recent of aerial images? Most sites I look at are at least 2-3 years back, Ive found one GIS site with aerials from the last year but I only have a free trail to it.

Huntstand app on my phone has a monthly update feature. It's not as detailed as the older pics but it's clear enough I can see what and where.

My son has either one on his hitlist. They’re right behind the house but we are bordered by hunting clubs, so he’s made it this long, so maybe he’ll live alil longer. I’ve made em a project of mine, tracking em down and trying to find their beds. Been tracking roads and fire lanes trying to pinpoint em. That buck in daylight was there the other day when the real feel was 107 outside, I didn’t figure anything woulda been moving.

Dang, I forgot to put that SD card back in!

In case anyone is wondering, the coordinates are 77.42916, -43.17722

Middle of the Greenland ice pack. Doubt there will be any hunting pressure there. ;)

I don’t have much time to scout for summer time bucks...I do post season and in season scouting and if I can get a 115+ buck I’ll take it! 3 kids and a freezer to fill makes trophy hunting more frustrating than rewarding with my current situation

I haven't layed eyes on the specific buck I'd like to chase come September, but I'm pretty sure I've cut his tracks going back into the bedding a few weeks ago. Trying to get eyes on him to see if it's a different buck.
