Granola bars or trail mix in a ziplock bag. Sometimes an apple

Re: Treestand snacks.
Leftover pizza, a whopper, day old Taco Bell, venison summer sausage brought back to where I first met him, coffee, flavored water, maybe some hard candy.
And a roll of toilet paper. Not fun playing beat the clock. I’m switching to a zip loc of wet wipes for next season.

That’s what I leave after eating acorns and tree branches.

I do Keto and IF, so if im hunting all day a bag of almonds or pecans, 2-3 hard boiled eggs keeps me satisfied all day. I always carry 2-3 water bottles as its hot down here, even in Nov and staying hydrated is key. I also have sugar free gum that ill chew on to overcome thinking about food.

Peanut butter sammiches and a couple of apples. Especially when it's cold out. Need the energy to stay warm. On a warmer day I have gone without, but I prefer to have something, at least an apple or two.
Twigs in my hair, don't care.

Re: Treestand snacks.
I have been noticing that I get hungrier the longer I'm in the woods. I think that it's boredom. I have started to pack myself a meal on a paper plate and then put that into a ziplock. I bring a fork and knife too. It can be a little tough to enjoy my meal when I'm in my saddle, but enjoy it I do. Just because your hunting doesn't mean you need to rough it. The deer don't care and neither should you. My next project is to pack up a portable microwave. Cold meals really suck, and besides, I deserve better. Don't you? There's no need to go hungry. Pack a meal. Bring a cooler.
Just Kidding, I usually just bring water because I take meds that dehydrate me.

Re: Treestand snacks.
Ill bring granola bars or trail mix and put them in sandwich bags so they don't make noise. Maybe a couple sandwiches for an all day hunt. I use to just go hungry, but I've had my stomach growling scare deer away.

There's a guy up here in Michigan that does that. He always post pictures of him in his stand with a piece of pizza or a whopper. He actually had a portable grill in one of his pics cooking eggs. Pretty hilarious.
