This one is my favorite n I smile inside every time I hear it.

1. "There aint any deer on stateland."

here are a few of my other favorites

2. " Dont go into his bedding area."
3. " Im going scentless."

I found myself saying " I never hunt there cause there's no deer in that area". Then take a walk through it and find it is loaded. Also, I've caught myself saying " it's a chip shot" and then screw it up somehow.

"I like hunting evenings better than mornings."
I live to release an arrow and watch woods grow into chaos and then grow quite as a mouse in just seconds.

Yup. Drives me nuts when I hear guys say this. "Oh he's a nocturnal buck, only moves at night." Yeah, so what does this buck do the other hours of the day...hide in a cave?

Gotta go throw some bait out or fill the feeders.
I don't hunt until the rut.
Neighbors are shooting all the small bucks.
I wont hunt public land to much pressure.

Some I hear every year.

Bump..good thread

Here's a couple that I've heard that grind my teeth:
Cull Buck

Just not my year

Woods was dead so I just sat on my phone

boooyah!

Looking for buck beds? They bed in the woods duh

I only hunt the rut

Save some deer for the rest of us

Why would you hunt public land?

Already been said, but "nocturnal buck" is one that drives me nuts. I've been guilty of saying in the past

I had to shoot him or else the neighbors would

Needed to get him out of the gene pool

I'm bored...

What time are the deer coming out?

Do I look good in this Camo outfit?

What's the wind got to do with it?

She said I can't go today

And who do I make this check out to?

It's not small my legs are just long

It's not me its this dang bow..

There wasn't a rut this year.

I kneel for the national anthem :snooty:

It's not fair

I would have got a biggen but ......

Hunting is just pure luck

I got lucky
catchin deers
NJ 11 pointer aka spike buck
big bucks don't have a pattern
I don't practice i just screw on my broad heads and hunt
I hunted that stand for two weeks straight
I waited for a better shot then he got away
I give up
there are no deer left
No way
There are no deer in that swamp its too wet
its too hot
its too cold
its too windy
its too far
he must be dead
you need to go in real far to find a big buck
I will never drag a deer that far
he might come back tomorrow
I herd a lot of deer blowing buy my stand i think i should try that spot tomorrow
i wasn't prepared today
i shot him over my bait pile
i kill deer at 80 yards all the time
lets mess with these guys so they hunt some other place
THE MOST IMPORTANT TOOL A HUNTER HAS IS BETWEEN HIS SHOULDERS
