It always seems to be a good spot when you say to yourself after you get there "How the heck am I ever gonna get out of here after dark" These are my favorite spots to hunt, I just worry about that when the time come and enjoy the hunt. If your still here theres never been a spot you couldn't make it out of.

 I think you and I hunt some very simalar terrain.

yes...that seems like every spot i hunt. everyone asks me "how are you going to get an animal out of there"...i guess i will worry about that when the time comes! in the mean time i dont shoot any dinks or does that far back..if im killing a buck, it better be worth the coming hel getting it out!

Same here. I would kill alot more deer than I do if I wasn't hunting spots like that. Then again if it was easy to get to I know I wouldn't see a fraction of the good bucks I do. I passed on many bucks in these spots I wouldn't hesitate on shooting if I was out of the nasty stuff.

So to add another to this topic I say..........It sure was an easy drag out of the swamp!!

Season is over.

I'm Waiting for the rut.

Where did I leave my butt-out?

Let me show you where I killed him.

"My Deer" when referring to a free range deer. Not much makes me exit a hunting conversation faster, especially while in the field. How do you guys handle the "my deer" guys on public land. Most bait and feel any deer they've got on trail cam belong to them.
