Re: Live from the field 2021-2022
Was pretty excited to sit on an island with the wind switch. But right before I got on the island I found a boot print, if he was on here the last few days he blew out the bedding with the wind we had. Also found a camera(if anyone here gets a picture of a guy throwing the horns and smiling at the camera post it up)
Not many acorns to be found either. Probably won't see anything but you never know.

Re: Live from the field 2021-2022
Got a good cold front for the season here in Missouri. 90 degrees down to 66 degrees!
Got into a public land piece for an afternoon sit.
Setting up next to a ditch that funnels down into harvested corn fields with the thought that the deer will come out of thicker bedding areas to the North and Northwest of me, to work there way through the woods down into the corn.
As soon as I set up I noticed a ladder stand about 80 yards away from me
Doesn’t look like anyone’s been there this season so hopefully I’ll get a chance to lay eyes on something! Windy with about 15mph winds, but it feels like early October!

I resemble that remark.
Happened two or three times this turkey season.

I know some people that would have shot anyway but I'd feel guilty. I hate accidently trespassing even.
