Yup, I have been contemplating on getting a lease the last few years though.

Nope. Love my 60, that’s where I kill bucks. Its only good for about 6 hunts a season, so public fills the gaps.

About 85% for me. Can't say the private pieces I have access to are much better than the public. Biggest advantage to those spots is using a atv to get deer out after a kill.
It only takes 15 seconds for the hunt of a lifetime.

Probably be 100% public for bow this year. Gun will be a mixture of private and public.

Same here, I do like the challenge of trying to figure out a public spot and getting out of my comfort zone. Plus, where I’m at, at least, the biggest deer seem to come off public land

I'm probably only 90% in the last 8 years +/- since I got away from some private we used to overhunt down here. I occasionally get invited to a private piece, but don't really have any of my own except my little 20 in the UP, and haven't been there in about 5 years except ( and haven't hunted up there since about 2013/2104) for the end of September when I had to take a ride to MN to pick somethings up. I walked around looking for a grouse because deer wasn't open yet.

Probably 85% public for me. I own 23 acres that’s the only private I hunt now. I have 2 other farms i still have access I hunted for 20+ years owned by friends and family I don’t hunt anymore. It’s just has challenging has the public for pressure

Im the odd man out here. I hunt private 95% of the time. Im really really trying to break that habit though. Im going to scout my way into public and hunt from the ground and try some observation sits then move in for a kill hopefully with a stand on my back.
