Ive gotta admit....
I have areas in constant pain, every single day

Im only a week in DhD’s recommendation and can tell a difference in the yoga stretches vs more traditional stretching

Cant wait to see how day 30 feels

Keep it up brother, it really does wonders! I think the building strength plus stretching is really what does it.

Day 26. I'm convinced. The flexibility and strength gains are awesome. At least three day a week yoga will be part of my workout routine from now on.

Google 'Back Extensions'...I really like this exercise because I haven't found many that strengthen my lower back like this one does.

Yesterdays workout and this is the last one I will share. I pretty much just do the same three days each week. I sometimes work a 4th workout in but I average 3 days a week. I have been doing this for about 7 years now and my motivation is to be in good shape for hunting and I love to eat!

5 minutes on the Treadmill - Incline 14 and speed 3.5 with 20 pound kettle ball
3 sets 10 Chest Lat Pulldown Machine @ 135 lbs
3 sets of 12 Arnold Press 2 35lbs dumb bells
3 sets of 10 Seated Leg Press @ 300lbs
3 sets of 10 Leg Curl Machine @ 110lbs
3 sets of 15 Ab Crunch Machine @ 90Lbs
3 sets of 10 Oblique Twist Machine @ 190lbs

I really need to get on board with a good diet that i can stick to for the long haul. Paleo has worked the best for me but i gained everything i lost a yr ago. I work Construction and help a big grain farmer. When i farm i can be in a tractor for up to 18hr days. You cant out train a bad diet unfortunately! Alchoal and pop are my worst enemies! The last 2 months ive been using a stationary bike at home. My body has so many aches and pains so its hard to do alot of weight training anymore. i really should try yoga that alot of you are talking about.

I have been busy so I haven't posted, but I did complete the 30 day program. I would recommend it to anyone, and I will be doing yoga at least 3 days a week from now on.

Yoga is/can be such a life saver. I've been dealing with some annoying hip pain since last August. Implementation of yoga, foam rolling, and some basic PT has (hopefully) reduced this issue to a 1 or 2 out if 10 pain. Also dropped alot of running and brought in swimming.

Now I realize I'm lucky as heck to have time to do all this, but still another guy talking up yoga over "normal" stretching.

On a personal note I hit a PR for swimming yesterday, 2500meters in just over a hour. That's 1.5 miles, more than most guys will walk to a tree stand!

You're doing better than me. I have still been doing yoga every other day or so, along with cardio on the airdyne, 100 pushups a day, and hiking 5+miles on off days. I quit vaping in the off-season, so I had put back on about 20 lbs. I've been back to hardcore keto(under 20 carbs a day) since Sunday. Thank you for bringing this thread back!
