Dandy of a buck! It would be nice if a buck from a sleeper state were to topple Milo's long standing record.

One of the things I hate seeing now a days is feeding deer. I AM NOT SAYING THIS IS THE CASE HERE. However, on many private lands in OK and TX they feed deer corn and minerals throughout the year. And if that is not enough, they are also introducing growth hormones to these feeds the same they do for cattle. So I guess I just don't get impressed anymore when I see corn feeders and big bucks. In TX on any number of high fence farms (and yes they can still be very wild and fair chase we have huge ranches) you can pay to hunt on and have a good opportunity to shoot 350+ inch non-typical and 250+ typical anytime you and your wallet want to. kind of like the whole natural vs doped athletes controversaries so prevalent today. It is just not the same thing - certainly not apples - apples.

Hanson buck is 213 5/8. He's got a shot at least. Amazing animal. Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it.

It would be cool to see the record come back to the U.S. again. I’m amazed the Hanson buck has held on for almost 25 years now. Just goes to show how tough that mark is to beat. So many incredible bucks since then that all seemed to fall just a bit short.

I agree but the B&K croonies wouldn’t allow it.

The Hanson buck shouldn’t even be the world champ anyways.... because nets are for fish. The king buck is the rightful champ.

Not saying it isn't true, but does anyone know if this buck is actually a legit buck. You know legally killed, not photoshopped or wasn't killed in a high fence. Not saying the OP is passing false info at all. Just I have seen so many of these every year that turn into being hoaxes. I saw one last year on a state hunting board where an extremely large buck was being passed off as a legal fair chase kill. A guy posted and said it was killed right over the hill from him and knew the spot it was killed. This poster was a regular and always was a straight shooter on posts. Turns out it was high fence and his neighbor had done a con job on him as well. He felt really bad about it when the truth came out.

Thats amazing! But honeslty.... Kinda dumb.

Where u come from thats a joke.
Not realistic whitetail farm raised perfects genitics pretty deer.

I just shot a 185lb 7pnt
Buddy shot a 190lb 4pnter
Feel like there more,intresting,cooler bucks
I dont like pics of deer near, feeders
Thats not hunting its dumb!

200+ pound mountain man deer 80"-130" racks round here

Gnarley badass looking deer that are in the north east......that thing looks like a perfect deer no scars no storys not a true Vietnam veteran deer.

I know I sound like a jack or a jerk but looking at a 6 year old 120" brute deer thats been cruising mountains with 5 months of over a foot of snow eating mushrooms and tree bark is,way, more impressive to,me.

Id rather see a 100" 200lb buck dragged 4 miles, out of the jungle swamp or mountain then some 16 point farm raised flatander pre set 5 minute walk deer eating, under feeders.
