Nose jammer???
Thoughts on nose hammer? I have always used and liked HS scent away both odorless and fresh earth. I will say my curiosity got the best of me and I am gonna try some jammer.. Is there any success out there? IMO it is more of a cover scent than actually a jammer but I’m no scientist... Just looking for some feed back both + and - so let we rip tater chip!

Re: Nose jammer???
I would highly doubt it works as advertised. Deer have the ability to separate odors, so they would smell the jammer, smell you, smell the leaves, smell dirt, smell the acorns etc...

Re: Nose jammer???
I dont use any scents really anymore but a few years ago i tried it out and had multiple deer literally follow the way I walked directly under the tree I was in. One being a nice 8 pt during gun season. I agree theres no magic potion but i dont think it hurt anything.. The vanilla scent is super strong and almost distracting though lol.

Not legal here because of the vanilla...
But I've tested vanilla and SOME deer will absolutely be drawn to it...like someone to make said, I've watched a 2.5yo follow and eat the leaves sprayed with a similar scent which was laid right in my path.

Re: Nose jammer???
A box of baking soda is great scent control and everyone has it at home already in the refrigerator.
48 ounces water to a boil add box baking soda stir pour in 3 plastic spray bottles. Congrats you just saved 20.00 worth of scent killer.
Does it help I dunno but It cost pretty much nothing. Doesnt hurt sometimes I get sick smelling my own rubber boots baking soda is a great thing.

Sprinkle it from the tree and pretend it’s Magic Pixie Dust.
I joke but actual prefer washing all my clothes in baking soda. I hate the smell of detergents. Even the scent free stuff isn’t truly scentless. More for my nose not the deer.

Snake oil.
Play the wind, catch them off guard. If something does mess with their noses, I doubt they'll be happy about it or stick around very long.

Re: Nose jammer???
It may dupe the occasional younger deer on public. Or older deer on unpressured private. Do what you want as far as using it. But don't rely on it to "get you by" if the wind is wrong. Personally I'd rather put those few dollars that it costs. For more gas in the car.

Re: Nose jammer???
I don’t spend ANY money on anything scent control related. My hunting clothes hung in my garage all year and I didn’t even wash them before season. Sprayed down with a generous dose of deep woods off before I killed my buck opening day.
Yeah I stink, but I don’t care. It doesn’t matter if you play the wind and spread your hunts out.

I won’t lie. I got a can. I was at the store and this older man came up to me and starting talking about it and sweared by it. After he left I picked one up.
