Anybody recommend a light safety harness? Preferably one with a lineman rope set up included.

Muddy safeguard is light weight and comes with lineman’s rope and carabiner

I would recommend a rock climbing harness. They are nice and light and not restrictive like standard hunting type of harnesses. I have a black diamond that I like but it doesn't have linesman loops on it so I added some. They have lots of different models though, many have linesman loops on them.

Thanks guys, I think I'm going Muddy. They have a couple that are basically what I was hoping for. Their newest one, Ambush, is like 1.9 lbs

+1 for the rock climbing harness. Switched to one a couple years ago and will never go back.

Check out the Muddy Magnum Pro. I just ordered one off Amazon last week for I think like $37, weighs 1.5#, easy on and off. It comes with everything you'll need as well.

I've been using a RCH since 2010. I wouldn't switch to anything else at this point other than if I bought a Kestrel or Mantis. Currently using a DIY Sit Drag saddle.

I use a Muddy Safeguard with two lineman's ropes and it works great. The harness comes with one rope but keeping two attached to me at all times speeds me up a ton.
