I did however kill a 250lb doe in mid Ohio but that was before dressed
She has been my biggest bodied deer killed
6 or 8 years ago a buddy of mine went and hunted with an outfitter in Illinois. He was self filming and passed up a bunch of bucks and on about day 5 of the hunt the guide asked him just how big a deer did he want to kill. He told him he'd be happy with a 125"-130" buck, the guide looked at the footage and counted 6 bucks in the 5 days he had passed that were over 130". He had to explain to my friend these are 225-250 lb midwest bucks, not 150-170 lb south Arkansas pine forest bucks He never did kill a deer on that trip and brings it up about every year and talks about going back.

Re: little big buck
I don't have a picture of him, but a few years back i got a 9 pointer opening morning of MN rifle that probably only scored in the 90s, but when i took him in to register he weighed in at 234lbs dressed. He was a good 15lbs heavier than the 13 pointer another guy was bringing in at the same time.

Re: little big buck
I consider this my best buck, I have 1 other that scored more inches but this buck just had a big body. Don’t know the weight as I did not have a scale to weigh him but based on other deer I have weighed I would say around 200 dressed. Shot him on the ground at 10 yards.

Almost every gas station has a buckpool that 10$ entry heavyiest buck wins and its never the biggest rack
Not to many people care about antlers in small towns its about body size everyone asks how much a deer weighed not antler size where i live....
U drive couple hrs towards the, city to the flatlanders and its all skinny jean kids talking about inches while they scroll through Facebook looking at scent lock hunting in there pre set stands, nwver shooting anything but they take cool selfies in the tree and have cool face paint.
Yep still the same in NH and Maine. Everyone asks "how much your deer weigh this year". Majority of check in stations have scales, a list goes up on the wall and all deer are weighed and listed........ 80lbs doe's to 200lb bucks. If someone doesn't weigh their deer its only because a scale wasn't available.
