Burr oaks here in east central Minnesota are loaded with acorns of varying ages. Some trees have green acorns while other trees are already dropping mature acorns in earnest.

I'm seeing the same, and in same area as you. I live out in O'Fallon, where are you located?

Good crop in my areas as well. Kids should be seeing good evening movement on the oak flats we hunt during youth season.

I could hear acorns dropping in the timber next to the road this morning while on my bike ride. Also starting to smash the with the tires on the rec trails.

Do you do the bucket method or just go directly back in the ground? I want to try it this year. A lot of my whites are dying off and with all the rain and wind we've had ive had a few of my mature reds uproot. My place is a creek bottom. Just curious if youve had success before.
