New property
Quick question... I move to this property September 1 and hunting season starts oct 1, do I scout in September or hunt my way in starting in October?

Re: New property
I personally would glass and monitor cameras. The first week/10 days of September typically produces a lot of daylight activity with the fall range shifting and shedding of velvet. I would set cameras out on the fringes of the woods. Do you have a topo image? How much of that land do you have access to?

Re: New property
I would glass.
No way would I walk around a property I plan to hunt after June.
You can do a grid breakdown of suspected spots and target those going in blind.

Re: New property
here are the property boundaries. topo is fairly basic, house is the highest and It drops into the swampy forest, not much on the topo images.
thanks for the tips!

Re: New property
Looks like a great piece with all the right stuff. Absolutely and without a question get out there and scout it and walk it.
