Are these rubs already
Scouted a swampy area today and found these. I am saying they are from this year but it seems a bit early. Thoughts?

Lol I thought you were where I scouted the other day.
I made several rubs using a shed antler to get the tree aroma going in hope of a buck refreshing a old signpost in 8 weeks or so.
Those are last years.

I agree, last years. The earliest I have ever had a hard horn buck on cam is August 22nd. I'd think it would be safe to say 99% of rubs found before Aug 1st are at least 1 year old or older.
