Velvet Rut
The Velvet Rut as Ted Miller would say, is getting real close. I’ve had great luck locating big deer from the middle to the end of July where I’m at. Starting to get that itch.

Ive been looking the last week or two. They dont have much for racks yet but can definetly tell whats going to be worthwhile or not by body size and what they already do have

Re: Velvet Rut
Any guidance as to what video I should watch where he references the velvet rut? I saw a pretty large rack of velvet the other day so they’re definitely getting there.

It was just a joke he cracked on a THP vid last summer. He asked the farmer if he could do some filming for the velvet rut and the farmer said I’ve got no idea what the heck is a velvet rut but you can do all the filming you want after you move those Bails.
