Wondering deer eat periwinkle and other woody type woodland floor plants or climbing vines.
I’ve heard they like poison ivy.
Do deer like periwinkle? Other favored vines?

Not sure about periwinkle although I would imagine a deer would it eat. Around here they eat poison ivy, green briar, kudzu, and honeysuckle vine, for sure.

I had to google what periwinkle was, but no, I've never seen them eat it but it doesn't really grow wild here. I guess I've seen it around old homesteads that reverted back to woods.
Add Virginia Creeper to the above list of vines that they will browse heavily. I'd put greenbriar #1 on that list if you are looking to propagate something that is great food and cover.

I’ve got Concord grapes in my yard and deer will hit it at night.
