Beast member Q&A discussion

Unread postby Lockdown » Sat Mar 16, 2019 5:02 am

With podcasts on hold for the time being, there has been a lot of interest in Q&A threads. Since I’m typically on the forum daily I decided to spear head the operation. So far I have nominated PredatorTC. His thread is up and he told me if he gets a chance he would possibly even respond today yet.

I also contacted Thwack16 about nominating member #2, since Thwack has shown interest and provided input in the associated threads. I’m trying to get this rolling right away, so the first couple guys will have their Q&A thread started immediately. Most of us are busy and most responses will likely take some time.

In the future we will give the featured member a couple weeks of notice. This should help keep things rolling along smoothly.

Feel free to comment and nominate members you would like to hear from. If any specific members get an abundance of “votes”, I’ll get it set up. I apologize for ANOTHER “who do you want to hear from” thread, but this thread is the new and official Q&A thread.

To try and keep things even, I will contact members who have shown given lots of input and they can nominate the next hunter for the hot seat. To keep it simple, I’m wondering if it’s easiest if they tell me who they’d like to nominate, then I can PM the member and send the list of questions. They can send me back their responses, and when it’s deemed appropriate I will paste everything into a live thread.

I am completely open to any comments or suggestions, be it positive or negative.

Edit: I didn’t address it specifically, but if you get chosen to participate and don’t want to, don’t feel obligated. Some concerns with this were brought up in the other thread. The PM’ing and advanced notice will work well rather than have a live thread about you unknowingly posted.

I thought this was a good idea.

I’m on board with that. To get things rolling I randomly selected Thwack16 to nominate someone and he has, just waiting to hear back from said person. PredatorTC has also been informed that he gets to select someone as well.

That's cool, then you'll have a couple of guys kind of working at the same time... Help speed up the number of Q and A's that get posted!

I would just add I think it would be helpful to add a question generally speaking where/what type of terrain?
