Buck Bachelor Group Question

Unread postby BBH1980 » Sun Feb 03, 2019 9:05 am

I often see mature buck in groups with other mature buck or younger ones feeding together in late summer. They stay on a pretty consistent pattern through the beginning of the archery season. My question is, when they are grouped up like that have you seen them bedded up together as well? Does this change how they bed?

I have seen them bed together. The last time I was observing a bachelor group there were 5 or 6 bucks. Two mature a couple 2 5 and ond or two 3.5 year olds. One was substantially bigger than the others. I knew the larger buck but only seen him in that area while in velvet. Seems like the big buck bedded where the lesser bucks did while in the bachelor group. He was always the last one out.
