Scrapes on thermal tunnel trails.

Unread postby Tennhunter3 » Wed Nov 21, 2018 7:35 am

Just found 3 fresh scrapes on a thermal tunnel trail.

So I'm slightly confused by this.
Do I setup above the scrapes. Or will the buck cruise the thermal tunnel trail then hook off the trail to smell it from below?

I'm guessing that this is a daylight scrape because of its positioning along the thermal tunnel cruising with thermal rise?

I found almost the exact same thing, and in Tennessee too. I hunted it a week or so ago and the buck came in 50 yards above it around an hour after the thermals started to rise. He was a good 2yo but not what I was looking for. I'm actually going to hit it again in the next day or so.
