Deer anatomy reference pics

I borrowed these off Iowawhitetail simply because they're too good not to have on hand if make a fast shot and need to think things over in the stand.

Sweet it worked. Also surprising how far that spine comes down, "the void" is simply hitting straps.

My favorite is the fourth one down. I saved that pic a couple years ago when it was posted.

That one is good, real flesh showing real anatomy. I like that 1st one with the grid lines, really helps mark shot placement and possible shot exit.

Great pictures thanks for posting I think a lot of people would look at these and be shocked where the shoulder bone actually is

That is something I often forget. Seems like maybe the elbow would be the main possible issue of forward shots.

my sister is a vet and she said he is spot on with what hes saying.

That video is awesome. I love how he flat out shows how there's no such thing as a "void" or "dead space" above the lungs. I've hit delete and retracted so many posts about the myth of the void it's just ridiculous.
