How do you guys feel about signpost rubbed every year within 150 yards of bedding?
Often times these signpost the tree is broken or destroyed and a tree nearby is selected to replace it many times even the broken tree still active.
These signpost I have seen from the size of a coke can to as round as a telephone pole. They are eye candy to a hunter but do they play a bigger role when near bedding and often used like a bedding scrape?
Signpost rubbed year after year.

I treat them like a cat does there scratching post. It let's other deer know who is around and in charge. If there is not a lot of pressure than it could be good but if there is lots of pressure then you will just have to monitor it.

I have a few of these. I use them primarily as an indicator of direction of travel when leaving the bed.
