very interesting to hear what everyone thinks about deer movement and to hear what the gps tracking shows and the actual truth

I listened too. I'm a science guy and always (er ...normally) rely on the data, but can't help believe there is some kind of flaw in this analysis.

To say there is no reliable pattern based on 5 weather conditions seems crazy to me. I know for a fact there are certain times deer are more active than others. I don't have an controlled, scientific study to prove it, but I simply can't bring myself to believe those results.

I am anxious to hear parts 2 & 3.

i think at the end he stated only cold weather showed more activity. the control was 35 deer too so its not like its a huge pool

I too found it interesting. The biologist from the Pennsylvania deer forest study had similar findings from their data. Also, it was peer reviewed meaning it is statistically accurate. I keep coming back to what he said, we tell ourselves that we will have better luck on cold fronts, so we are more often in the woods on a cold front. Then If we see deer that day it confirms our suspicion. I'm not sure I'll stop hunting cold fronts, but I'll be more likely to hunt other weather conditions.
