Wind shift
I'm trying to plan a hunt for tomorrow evening and looking for a little advice. It's been super hot here in KY the last 2 weeks but we've just had a front push through bringing lots of rain and a pretty good drop in temp. The wind tomorrow morning is going to be SSW but is forecast to switch to a hard NW around 2pm. I'm hunting in hill country and I know from prior scouting there is a nice buck in the area. I've heard Dan talk about deer getting up and moving to adjust for the wind on a certain point but how would you go about setting up for an evening hunt or is the shift in wind too risky to be aggressive and get in tight to his bedding? I want to take advantage of the cold front pushing through but the shift in wind has got me scratching my head on what to do
