My goals are the same as 2017. To fill both of my Missouri antlered-only tags with mature bucks (4.5 yrs or older).

when I'm done with that I hope to kill a slob or 3.

Why set your goals so low?

saving something for next year.

My goal is to kill a mature buck in Georgia and South Carolina, get my nephew out in the woods and hopefully help him get his first mature buck, have a lot of fun and really hone my beast tactics. I was fortunate enough to kill a Mature buck last year with my bow not too long after switching to this style of hunting which has given me a ton of drive to learn all I can about it and implement it to the best I can. Hoping for similar results this year.

My base goal is the same every year. Kill at least one good buck. What a “good” buck is depends what property I’m on, and I hunt a lot of different properties.

Every year I also have the goal to kill my biggest buck, which I think I have a good shot at this year.

There are a ton of other goals but my focus usually stays on those 2. The latter being much harder to achieve typically

This pretty much sums up my goals for this season. Shoot a good buck depending on where I am at and hopefully find a slob to hunt at some point in the season.

My goal main goal this season is to be in the game on some mature bucks! I dont have to kill to feel like i accomplished something but just be in the game, sighting, and close encounters is what im after or a kill ;) But just connect some dots on some serious scouting ive done the last couple of years!

Fill some doe tags in different counties in different terrains.
Fill a buck tag with a deer that i deem permissible.
Get my nephews feet wet in the public hunting game.
Set my 28 year old friend on his first deer.
Film all of it!
All good things come to those who shoot straight.

Obviously I'd like to kill a nice buck or two. Also just learn as much as I can from mistakes or just observations. Do more in season scouting as well.

Actually my goal every time I go hunting, is to kill a mature buck! If I don't, I hope I learned something on that hunt to become a better hunter!

My primary goal is to shoot a good deer with my bow. I also have a goal of seeing 4 good bucks while using beast tactics with at least 1 within bow range. This is year two of hunting beast style and last year I saw 2 good bucks but not within bow range. All I can ask for is improvement and my confidence will continue to go up. That will show me that I am learning how to hunt these properties better and that I am gaining a better understanding of deer.
