Same deer?

Unread postby Tjterry » Mon Aug 20, 2018 4:36 am

I found these sheds back in the spring, so I put out a camera near where I thought this deer might be feeding. I got a picture of this buck , but I'm not sure it's the same one. What do ya'll think?ImageImage

Thanks for the reply. I hope its him. The sheds measured 176, guess I was expecting him to look bigger in pictures.

I'd say it's the same deer. I like the kickers, hope you get him! Any other history with him or an idea how old he might be?

Yeah, that is one reason I had doubts. He looked to thin on mass. I pretty sure I know where he beds pretty often, I'm gonna try and push in as soon as I get a good wind. Season opens September 1. Won't be long !

No history with him other than the sheds. He's in an area that I've never hunted. I think he's is 5 plus for sure

Based on the kickers and the bases of the sheds I would also think he's an older deer.

I'd say that is 99.9% the same buck and if not..more power to you..that just means there are 2 brutes in the area.
