I admit I don’t get on as much an contribute like I once did. But complete and utter shock. Stan touched so many lives in here and changed so many hunters perscpectives. It’s hard to wrap your head around a loss this surreal and shocking. I still now have a hard time accepting the news. Rest In Peace peace Stanley.

I listened to podcast #3 with Stan today on river bottoms and small wood lots. He gave a piece of advice that hopefully will stick with me through this season and many more.

Agreed. All of my friends that wanted beast info I would have them listen to that podcast. He had it figured out. He will be greatly missed.

I have been off the site for quite a while and just realized that Stan had passed away. I didn't know him as much as the rest of you but I asked him all sorts of annoying questions and he always took the time to answer them. A good man indeed.

I was actually thinking of Stan the other night...
While I was at home skinning my buck out I reached for a knife Stan had put up for auction on the Beast to raise some money for the big buck contest awhile back. Looking back I’m very glad I bought that knife as every time I reach for it when a deer goes down thoughts of Stan’s no B.S. approach comes with it. I hope to have that knife of his for a long time. 8-)
