I never met him in person, but he was a stand up guy on the site. He will be missed for sure.

Funny I thought of him the other day. I was slipping my crocs on to take the dog out in the morning.
I have always had a ton of respect for that man and this truley saddens me. I hope his energy and spirit surrounds us all in the deer woods this season and it helps us to reach our goals in our path to being a good person which I for one think Stan was. Bumming.....

RIP Stan

I will remember his knowledge. He was the type of guy that you just listen too. Like top 10 percent of the 10 percenters when it came to hunting for sure.

I will miss his patented "smile" with a big buck that you could count on every year.

Such a great hunter and person.

Wow, we all know our day will come but it always comes as a shock. I do not know Stanley personally but he seems like a great person through this site. His knowledge and overall point of view will be missed. My prayers will be to his friends and family. Rest in peace Stanley. I hope there are big bucks up there to chase.

This is truly a great loss.

We've meet, had dinner together and conversed on the phone numerous time a year - for many years

God Bless Stan the Man! He was a great person with oodles of common sense & a big heart.

 Yes - a tear in many eyes...
