So shocking and a great loss of a great human being. Stan was a man's man. I have admired Stan for many years. He always offered advice when I asked, and was more than happy to share his wealth of knowledge. What an outstanding outdoorsman. Sincere condolences goes out to his Wife Jan, daughter and entire family. May God Bless.

Stanley, brother you will be missed and hope you look down on your fellow Beast brothers from time to time with a big smile

Wow...he will be missed. Very shocking for sure. You just never know when your time is. Condolences to his wife...man reading his obituary, looks like they lost a son and a daughter. Now she lost her husband of 42 years as well.

This is sad to hear, I always "listened" when Stan spoke, he had a lot of knowledge and was williing to share it.

I will for sure miss him on here, I’ve listened to the beast podcast he did many times and could hear wisdom in his words. Guess I know what i’ll listen to tomorrow.

I am sorry to hear this, I really enjoyed Stanley's post. Lots of wisdom in a lot of areas. My prayers go out to his family and friends. He will be missed here but I'm sure he is enjoying his reunion with his children that preceded him.

I'm sad to hear this I always read his posts as if it was an uncle speaking to me. He had a way of getting right to what he wanted to say that always sank in for me.
