Seeing this too often in Ohio too. Can’t believe some of the setups I’ve found a mile back. If these guys just put that kind of work into scouting we’d have our hands full :D

We can't cut branches on Michigan public. Burns me up when I see prime shooting lanes butchered out , while I'm wishing I could get up this great tree with a climber aside from that finger size branch 10 feet up! Or that small limb hanging right out in front of your best shot.

Chumps!

Crazy what some people will do man. I’d hate to be that guy but it’s worth it to call it in to the DNR and hopefully they can have a chat with him to let him know what he’s doing is wrong.

Crazy amount of rubs man. I’d suspect multiple bucks using that area with that many!

I’ve come across stuff like this so many times on PA Public and even a Federal wildlife refuge here in PA that your not even allowed to leave a stand over night let alone chain a ladder stand to a tree and cut 4 foot wide shooting lanes. Some Guys are just plain stupid have no common sense or fear or know any better.

What are you doing in my spot? Did you follow my cat eyes?

Your scaring off my deer.

We see that nonsense here as well. Gotta wonder how that tire got there.

Funny, but I can’t say I didn’t do similar in the past.

Feed back on the video... move the camera slower. I almost got motion sickness.

if you need to prep a stand for the season and cant cut just get some bailing twine you can bend trees out of the way and tie them back the twine will fall apart over the summer and return to nature and the trees will spring back. I do it every year on my good spots.

I see it a lot in my areas. They also usually have a beat down trail to the stand where it looks like they sat it 20-30 times in one season. Realize why 10% of the hunters shoot 90% of the nice bucks

Well brother, I had a day today.

Image

This guy created that opening for the bait barrel and his illegal stand (in the background).

Image

This guys’ illegal stand had shooting lanes just like you found yesterday. I laughed when I found them and thought of you. They were almost in good spots. They needed another ~100 yards to be in the game and they should’ve been looking down the point instead of into it. It’s funny how the deer have worn down trails skirting them...if they put the effort into scouting instead of building something illegal they’d have noticed the deer going around them.

Its unreal. That these people think that if you change the local animals bedrooms that its gonna give you an advantage to kill them. I would call dnr on that guy babs.
Ghat guy looks like he did more damage to the woods then the guy i found. And people wonder why the liberals are on our tail ends all the time. Sometimes we are our own worst enemies
