I don't know how you guys do it up there. I guess it's all in where you were raised and what you're used to.

The cold normally doesn't bother me unless the wind is blowing. That's what makes it rough. It's 3 degrees here this morning (and a record I believe for January 2nd). It feels pretty nice, but the wind is calm.

I have never hunted in the type of weather like we have been experiencing in WI with -10 for a daytime high and -33 windchill on top of it. If you can somehow stay warm in the woods with those kind of conditions, then high-five to you. You are a Jedi.

Cold temps normally don't bother me. I work year round outside so you have no choice but to get use to it. Hunting is different though. At work I'm moving around all the time, in and out of my truck ect. On stand I'm not moving at all. I can usually tough it out and be humble being miserable as long as I have a tag in my pocket.

Ok so what would be the most ideal clothing makeup or set that would be flexible non bulky and warm for us beast style hunters?
