Coming with the wind?

Unread postby OHBB24 » Wed Nov 08, 2017 12:39 pm

Tomorrow's wind is blowing from direction I expect evening movement to come from. It's blowing just off of food plot tho. Do you set up here or try somewhere else? I cannot locate thread but I seem to recall a good majority of folks see deer moving with the wind, is this accurate

I have seen a lot of movement wind to back. Especially in the evening on the exit from bedding. They have thermals working for them as air and ground temp starts cooling. There are no definites but I have seen it a lot.

Thermals are more reliable then wind direction for a eve hunt.

Yea deer have absolutely no problem with wind to back coming from bedding.

Don't worry about the wind direction unless it exposes your scent.
