Wolfie, that is awesome. Thanks for sharing the personal side, that makes it more real. Sometimes we try to bury that stuff and not expose that side in the public forums, at least that is what I have done for a few years, not sure why.

Congrats to you and hope you put a smile on grandpa, and the rest that have gone before you. God bless you and keep your chin up. Great buck congrats on your accomplishment

That's great story. Just proves those that want it bad enough don't quit till the last sunset....way to stick it out and I think we all have our emotional moments in the tree...great buck!

Thank you very much I’m man enuff to admit some tears were spilled. Glad you enjoyed the story my grandfather was the toughest SoB I’ve ever met thank you again 2017 has been a tough one to top it off one of my closest friends wife past in february. I just tell myself to not judge a man by how many times he gets knocked down but by how many times he gets up. Thanks again for your support god bless.

Thanks trust me I was considering quitting and I totally agree got likes to serve that humble pie from time to time to keep us on track!

Awesome story and photos. I've been so so close myself this year after changing up tactics to hunting bedding and ambushing the bucks. HOPE I have a similar thread up in the coming days!
