You’d have yourself a time I promise.

I am sure there is. :D
We are headed somewhere if the rifle pressure gets to be 2 much. I am guessing it's going to be stupid crazy.

Back on stand a little late...around 3 30..wanted to prep a spot in a doe bedding area when no one was home. Tomorrow I will be sitting all day. Wicked looking spot. Deer crap all through. Pile of beds. 3 pieces of timber come together and there is a crossing at the river.

Buck sign throughout bit not pounded...what is there is fresh. I expect these bucks to be working through this area.

Other buddies today have been on it. Both have passed 130s bucks on public. Both have seen more than one buck. I saw buck this morning. These next few days could be dynamite.

Sounds like there’s a buck or two with only hours left to live. It’s getting interesting! Good luck

I am excited about tomorrow. All day sit...first one of my rut trip. We have scouted hundreds and hundreds of acres of public. We have wrecked derailers in both our bikes. Hoping to resurrect mine when I get a chance. My buddy broke his right off and ended up with a whole new bike. Walmart bikes don't hold up to well.

Today I found such a great spot...bunch of fingers come together. It's on the other end of the spot where I had bucks come in today. But thst is a nne wind spot..mi needed an all day bedding area and I found it. Bunch of doe beds with droppings all through. Right on edge of river with that perfect bedding weeds / grass. Some beds pounded to the dirt.

Did find some buck sign...also found where deer are crossing from one finger across river into another finger.

It's text book perfect to catch a buck on his feet looking for a doe. Maybe I am also getting myself pumped up for a cold sit lol.

What a morning so far. New spot. Bedding area. Just got settled in here comes a doe. She must be comi ng back to bed. Nope.

She has a buck in tow. Nice buck...real fun encounter. I will post pics once photo buckey starts working.

Have not sat down yet. Those deer are within 60 yds bigger buck is guarding her from little buck. Just need bigger buck to cut track and it will be game on.

I am here all day. It's coldest day of the trip. 19 when I left truck. Deer had frost on backs.

A big thing in picking up from this is you are busting in bedding then hunting it right away if the sign is there. It's aggressive but productive until the spot burns out. I did something similar last year in KY. I hunted soft around what I thought was doe bedding. After a couple days a good cold front hit, I went for it. Busted 2 does walking in, set up and saw a nice buck. The next morning saw 35 deer, 3 shooters and whiffed at 35yrds but it worked. Good luck maine

We don't have a choice when hunting brandnew ground. I also never sit on the outside and wonder if it's a bedding area or not. There just is not time. I never busted a deer in here yesterday that I know of. But have seen a pile so far today.

It's also an overlooked spot. I can almost see my truck from my stand. .3 mIles from my truck.

A lot of guys walk right past this stuff because they really do not know what there looking at. I saw this yesterday and started picking trees. The entrance is dynamite.

What I am really counting on is a good buck coming through checking these doe beds.

Wow. So the morning wad great but the rest of the day had been crickets. Weird rut action this year. I would hAve expected tO'Day to be rocking. It started with a bang that's for sure. Hard to believe that doe had no more

But a beautiful day to be on stand. No place I would rather be than in a doe bed during the rut.

As I am typing this, heard deer walking...2 fawns just went by. Mom is being bred would be my guess.
