I am excited its finally here even though i cant make it opening day, i am planning to make it asap!! Tomorrows weather is suppose to be cool and dry, hurricane harvey has dumped almost 2" here but more to the south of me near a hunting area, then its suppose to warm up to almost 90 by monday. Tuesday brings a big cold front,For the rest of the week temps will be in the low 70's for high and low 50's for lows, which is low and real nice for this time of year around here! Im hoping to get out then! A recent scouting trip has gotten me even more exited, the sign leads me to believe it needs to be hunted early!! So we will see!! Time will tell!! Good luck to everybody else in ky! And i know the rest of you are starting to get antsy!! Its coming!!

Good luck. I may get out if the rain holds off tomorrow. If not, I'll be going out Sunday or Monday with a dove hunt the other day.

Thanks Fellas! Got out last night and saw five bucks, no shooters. All were hard horned and a couple even sparred a little. Gotta tell you, hearing antlers rattling from a stand again was great.
