Keeping gear dry when setting up in a swamp

How do you guys keep your bow/rifle and pack dry while you are setting up in a swamp or flooded timber? I am new to hunting cypress swamps but think will need to figure out some king of strap system to hang my bow on a tree to keep it dry while setting up.

Strap hooks.

They make them that buckle around the tree with plastic hooks. I just hang everything right there at the base.
