Shedding velvet

Unread postby magoo » Fri Aug 25, 2017 12:35 pm

We,ve been feeding a few bucks for over a year now. Number 2 buck, about a 110 8 point, shed his velvet since yesterday. Rack still has blood on it.
Bad news is that EHD is in the area. I sure hope it doesn't spread any more!

interesting, but up until tonight, dominance was demonstrated by kicking. Tonight buck 2 went after a lesser
buck with his horns.Horns seemed more effective.
Anyone else experiencing EHD? It's in 3 adjacent counties. Game commission reports 150 confirmed deaths. I wouldn't
be surprised if the actual total is 10 times that!
