Buck Bedding 101

Unread postby <DK> » Fri Aug 25, 2017 11:41 am

I tried searching for the right old thread to bump really couldn't decide or find the "right" one...so I figured start a post w some of Dan quotes, some best all time threads links, examples, experiences, kills, videos & maps. Photobucket really has hurt the newer members for examples so I wanted to get a thread going to help anyone that might be struggling or just starting out. It can be tough at first and visuals are the best teacher! I hope to see some other members contribute bc I only have so many beds, maps & stories willing to share. I will add many things to this eventually... feel free to jump in or ask questions. I really need some help from guys willing to make up examples of swamp, marsh & river scenarios. I have a few great examples I saved for my own learning, but they are other people's spots so I cannot share.
Anything that can help contribute to another person's future success!

Ill start this thread w some general things iv saved over the years on the Beast

Thanks bud! I appreciate that. Honestly I just think about deer all the time man. Aside from having a passion for hunting, the beast and bed hunting is an addiction! I just love learning new terrains and bedding. Sometimes I have to log out...I always figured the further I go w this stuff, the better I'd get, the less I'd have to do it... not the case at all. My drive rises w every outing and it's hard to sleep. Ha! Every spare chance I have from work or family I'll either be here, shooting bows or in the woods.

No problem guys! I started at the bottom learning this stuff. Ill try to find the original site those Hunterra maps come from. It's harder for a guy these days w pics gone and people stealing spots that guys ask for help on... we can't let that stop everyone from learning. Alot o those old great threads I want to lesrn from as well, luckily even w pics gone I can visualize it enough to hlget an idea. Sorry for all the video links, there is alot of info / pics I have to share but figured I'd get a lot of those out of the way bc it's easy, fun learning.
